In 2025, Ian Rushing, owner of Toy Box Studios, acquired An Affair to Remember from Denny Madigan, who established the company as a community staple. Ian brings 26 years of journalism experience and over 15 years leading Toy Box Studios, a creative production company known for its wedding and corporate videography, live-streaming, and more. With Ian at the helm, we’re excited to continue An Affair To Remember's legacy while expanding our services through Toy Box Studios and offering even more creative options.

Meet The Team
Brad
Production Director
Brad graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production. A pro at multimedia conversions and editing, Brad does it all. He has worked with An Affair to Remember for over the last decade as the Production Director and is an integral part of the AATR team.
Raised here in Frederick County, Brad still resides in his hometown with his wife. In his off time he enjoys he enjoys watching professional wrestling and hanging out with the local film club.
Ian
Owner
With 26 years of experience in journalism, Ian has spent his career telling stories through visuals. In 2025, Ian took over An Affair to Remember, continuing its legacy of exceptional videography and building deeper connections within the local community.
He moved to the area over 20+ years ago from Alaska and fell in love with the Shenandoah Valley where he now resides with his wife Kari, owner of Vault and Cellar, and their 2 children. He is the founder of Honey & Hops Brew Works, Toy Box Studios and Evocent Images. In his off time he enjoys a fine cigar, working in his garden and plotting his next business ventures and projects.
Jade
Office Manager
Jade studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and brings over 20 years of experience in hospitality to the team. With her extensive background in customer service, Jade is dedicated to making every interaction memorable for An Affair to Remember’s clients. She joined Ian in 2024, where she plays a key role in connecting with clients and ensuring a smooth, personalized experience.
Born and raised in Front Royal, VA, she lives with her husband and 6 cats. In her free time she enjoys traveling, and spending time on the Shenandoah River with friends.
